The traditional francesinhas are on display at Largo José Afonso, until the 20th, in the second edition of the Festival de Francesinhas de Setúbal, organized with the support of the City Council.
The gastronomic event brings together some of the best known restaurants in the city of Porto, namely Cufra, Alicantina, Alfandega Douro, Taberna Portuense and Santa Francesinha, which make francesinhas on site.
The delicacy prepared according to the traditional recipe is joined by the new francesinha cooked in a wood oven and the vegan francesinha, with tofu, seitan, mushrooms or grilled vegetables and vegan cheese.
The Festival de Francesinhas de Setúbal, organized with the support of the Municipality of Setúbal, whose vice-president, Carla Guerreiro, was at the inauguration, on 11 August, runs every day between 12:00 and 15:00 and from 18:00 to 23:00.
