The Association of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World met on March 21st and 22nd in La Ciotat, France, an international event that included the participation of a delegation from the municipality of Setúbal.
At the two-day meeting held in that French commune, led by the current president of the Association of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World, Louis Thébault, the projects and activities being developed by the organization were made known, as well as the needs and expectations of members were heard.
The event was attended by a delegation from Setúbal made up of the president of the Baía de Setúbal Association, Ricardo Oliveira, and the head of the Protocol, International Relations and Cooperation Division, Susana Ullrich.
A presentation conference by the Association of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World was also part of the program, as well as a series of parallel activities, including visits to the Nauticales hall and the large portico of the La Ciotat shipyard and a sunset along the “Route de Crêtes”.
The Association of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World, established on March 10, 1997, in Berlin, has more than forty members, distributed across the entire planet, who exchange experiences in terms of protection, conservation and sustainable development policies for territories. .
