Promotional actions, walking tours and educational activities enrich the 2022 Oyster Week program, taking place in Setúbal between April 1 and 10, with more than three dozen Sadino restaurants presenting special menus.
During the initiative of the City Council, promoted within the scope of the project to promote tourism and regional products “Setúbal Terra de Peixe”, 31 restaurant establishments in the municipality offer dishes especially focused on oysters on their menus.
In addition to the more traditional ways of making the mollusc characteristic of the Sado Estuary, some restaurants include more daring proposals, such as A Casa do Peixe, which suggests oysters with vinaigrette and honey muscatel, Xtoria, with creative oysters, or Sem Horas. , which promotes the oyster ceviche this week.
The Oyster Week counts on the support of Docapesca, the Setúbal Hotel and Tourism School, Ostras Sobre Rodas, Découverte and Bacalhôa Vinhos de Portugal.
