The Municipality of Setúbal is once again represented at one of the most important European tourism fairs, FITUR, which takes place in the Spanish capital until next Sunday.

Under the motto “We embrace the world, we are tourism”, the event presents itself as an opportunity to relaunch tourist destinations for 2022, and as an important event for tour operators to promote their products.

Setúbal presents itself in a pavilion with 36 square meters next to the Portugal Pavilion dedicated to the themes of nature, gastronomy and wines and has the participation and collaboration of several local tour operators, which, in partnership with the municipality, bet on the attractiveness and potential of the Setúbal brand.

The Secretary of State for Tourism, the Ambassador of Portugal in Spain and representatives of Turismo de Portugal in Madrid visited the Setúbal pavilion and highlighted the participation and strategy of the municipality to differentiate the destination and the offer of its tour operators, in an event with high visibility as is the FITUR.

In the first three days of the event, exclusively reserved for professionals in the tourism sector, more than two dozen meetings were held in the Setúbal pavilion with communication agencies, service companies and the Spanish press, including live interviews for a television channel and Radio Madrid, where the various tourist products in the region were highlighted.
