Close to forty people participated, on the afternoon of November 13, in Azeitão, Setúbal, in a local activity dedicated to the World Wine Tourism Day.
The “Feeling the Wines of the Setúbal Peninsula” initiative included a guided wine tour of the Quinta de Catralvos winery, a Magusto with sweet potatoes and roasted chestnuts and a symbolic moment of opening the new wine.
The program also had an event on the afternoon of November 14 at Casa da Baía to present the film “Da Adega à Garrafeira – O Moscatel de Setúbal”.
The World Wine Tourism Day was established in 2009 by the European Network of Wine Cities (RECEVIN) and the celebrations in Setúbal involved, in addition to this entity, the City Council, Quinta de Catralvos, the Regional Wine Commission of the Setúbal Peninsula, the Association of Portuguese Wine Municipalities and the European wine sector program Wine in Moderation.
