Nautica promotes business and tourism
The second edition of Feira Náutica de Setúbal, held between Thursday and Sunday on the riverfront, with more than four dozen exhibitors, made known businesses and services in this sector and contributed to the tourist projection of the municipality.
Over four days, the Setúbal City Council event was an important space for business and the provision of services, by local and national companies, in the areas of recreational boating, sport fishing, spearfishing, diving, air sports free and nautical and mountain tourism.
Inside the nave of Pier 3 of the Port of Setúbal, exhibitors made known a set of equipment to be used in different nautical domains, from boats to maritime electronics technologies, as well as services of a tourist nature and sports projects of clubs in the city.
In the outdoor area, a highlight is the display of boats for recreational boating, especially larger ones, and vehicles converted into motorhomes, along with a food court with a sample of sea flavors in which it is possible to enjoy some of the best regional products.
This edition of Feira Náutica de Setúbal also had a restaurant area, which featured a display of flavors from the sea in which a variety of seafood and cuttlefish snacks, limpets and bolo do caco stood out, as well as ceviche proposals, tasted with the accompaniment of live musical notes.
The second Nautical Fair of Setúbal, an event promoted in partnership with the Administration of the Ports of Setúbal and Sesimbra and with Caetano Drive, included, over the four days of the event, nautical baptisms, workshops, recreational activities and nautical and mountain sports for schools.
The activities program of the Feira Náutica de Setúbal also included the Passeio de Vento em Popa, aboard the Maravilha do Sado, held on the 19th, in which, at the invitation of the local authority, the routine was broken and the psychosocial well-being of the users of the Álvaro Dias Centre, from APPACDM.
The V Regatta de Vela de Cruzeiro, on the 20th, from Praia da Saúde, and the tour open to kayaks, rowing boats and stand up paddle Alpertuche Nautic Tour, held on the 21st, on a circuit between the Urban Park of Albarquel and Alpertuche Beach, were also part of the Setúbal Nautical Fair.
