This space was born from the transformation of the old “Perienes” canning factory into a museum dedicated to the various economic activities in the region.
Dedicated to the world of work, the Michel Giacometti Work Museum was designed to reflect the three sectors of the economy, with emphasis on industrial heritage, urban crafts linked to commerce, services and the old canning factories and lithographs based in the municipality of Setúbal. . Discover the permanent exhibitions “A Indústria Conserveira (From the auction house to the can)”, “Mundo Rural – Michel Giacometti ethnographic collection and the Museum's Genesis” and “Mercearia Liberdade – a heritage to be safeguarded”. When leaving, very close, contemplate the city and the Sado walking to one of its most beautiful viewpoints, the Viewpoint of Sao Sebastiao. Good photographs!
