Teatro Estúdio Fontenova premieres a play with original text by Armando Nascimento Rosa and staging by José Maria Dias. “The Abduction of Queen Victoria” is a scenic fiction set in Durban, in the then English colony of Natal. The Mozambican maid Paciência of the Portuguese consul Miguel Rosa receives Queen Victoria, who wishes to congratulate the young Fernando Pessoa on the prize named after her that he received on that day in 1903 at the University of Cape Town. But Patience knows that the queen has been dead for two years. Who is that woman and what is the reason for the visit?
