On Saturday mornings, always from 11:30 am, the Church of Jesus presents a diversified program, which combines performances by renowned artists at national level with projects by artists and local entities.

The Convento ConVida cycle offers vocal and instrumental chamber music concerts, with a vast repertoire that brings together centuries of classical music, from ancient music to the contemporary period.

In May, the first concert, on the 7th, features the performance of the Ateliê de Ópera de Setúbal, with Diogo Oliveira as baritone, accompanied by João Malha on piano.

On the 14th, there will be a show by Dois &m Duo, formed by Joana Gomes, violin, and Nuno Santos, guitar.

On June 4th, the Setúbal Opera House returns to Igreja de Jesus, this time with the soprano Marisa Rodrigues, accompanied by João Malha on the piano.

On the 11th, the stage is shared by Folefest, a project by accordionists José Pedro Fangueiro and Francisco Martins, and by the Stretto Duo, with Catherine Strynckx on cello and Paulo Jorge Ferreira on accordion.

The Bach & Handel Recital will follow on the 18th, presented by Patrycja Gabrel, soprano, Carolina Figueiredo, mezzo-soprano, and Daniel Oliveira, harpsichord.

The June program ends on the 25th with a concert for families in which the Ensemblisbrass interprets a repertoire that provides a journey through the “Music of the Magical World of Cinema”.

Tickets for the Convento ConVida shows, on sale at the Museu de Setúbal/Convento de Jesus, cost five euros.
