Shopping local gives prizes
A competition taking place from November 24th to December 31st, part of the municipal program Christmas in Setúbal 2023, rewards shopping in the commercial downtown during the festive season.
Purchases from 30 euros in one of the approximately 70 establishments participating in the “Christmas in Baixa de Setúbal” campaign, organized by Associação Riscas Vadias, with the support of the City Council, can be worth prizes such as trips, dinner, basket, brunch, massage and king cake.
For every 30 euros in purchases, customers receive a participation coupon, up to a maximum of 300 euros for each store, and the receipt for each purchase must be preserved for verification in the case of a prize.
Once completed, the coupons must be inserted into a tombola, located in Largo da Misericórdia, and the results are published at the end of the competition on Instagram “Abraça a Baixa” and on the website of the municipality of Setúbal.
The “Christmas in Baixa de Setúbal” campaign, with the aim of encouraging purchases in traditional commerce, within the scope of the “Abraça a Baixa” project, awards as the first prize a two-night trip for two people to Madeira, with flight, accommodation transfers and travel insurance paid.
The second prize is worth a weekend in the Algarve for two people, the third prize entitles you to a Christmas hamper and the fourth and fifth prizes are awarded one night, respectively, at 34 Guesthouse and RM Guesthouse, for two people and with small -lunch included.
The sixth and seventh prizes receive, respectively, a dinner or dinners at the restaurant Sem Horas and Taberna do Largo, both worth 50 euros, and the eighth prize includes a brunch at @Check-In, worth 25 euros.
A relaxing massage at Image and a king cake from Capri bakery correspond to the ninth and tenth prizes of the “Christmas in Baixa de Setúbal” Campaign.
